TLDR: Go elsewhere. You get what you pay for here.

Divorce carries a lot of shame in this society when it shouldn't. It's important to call out actors who do not abide by the Hippocratic Oath of 'first do no harm.'

ADMS' website lands with 'taking the trauma out of the process.'

Their entire approach is fraught with adding trauma to the process from session payment to stringing out the sessions over months.

In our first session, Dr Jeri's (unprofessional) email was not recognized by my bank for Zelle payment. Thus, she made us wait in the Zoom waiting room during our allocated time for nearly 20 minutes while we frantically sorted out alternative payment methods. This forced delay was despite us communicating in advance these payment issues.

Once we were in the session, her approach to mediation was nothing short of a "check boxer." We had to press on the implications of each decision, the tradeoffs, etc.

Now that we have learned more about mediation services, I can certify multiple sessions are *not* the best way to resolve issues. Go the professional route with an attorney. Knock it out in 1 session, 2 max.

As an after note, Dr Jeri seemed more intent on recovering her transaction cost for the alternative fintech solution than using her preferred Zelle. It was the nail in the coffin.

The impression was this person is more focused on the cost recovery than 'taking the trauma out of the process.'
