This was an easy and lovely interaction. I called the phone number and Marquise’ walked me through the process. He ensured I was comfortable with the pricing. He even printed out my document which was a huge plus. When he arrived at my house (25 mins later) he was very professional, did the work quickly, and explained everything to myself and my husband. Just called to get a standard notary stamp.
There's no way I should be quoted $100 for standard acknowledgement stamp for 2 documents, that is completely out of control, you should be ashamed of yourself, I've never been asked for $100 for any notary stamp at anytime, and I was a notary so I know better, $2 is the lawful price for a basic Notary stamp in the state of Georgia, that type of stamp was not even in the vocabulary, this is an obligation of the Notary, if a person needs their help they are obligated by oath to assist and be available to the public as an official Officer of the Court with the rights and privilege's, a PUBLIC SERVANT!! not a commercial enterprise, that never even crossed his mind, if it wasn't a $100 order for his services, he wasn't even gonna consider it. This is not meant to be a way to pay monthly bills, this is VOLUNTARY SERVICE that is supposed to be provided by a sworn county government officer called the Notary, that is why you are commissioned to where your help is needed , not only when you make $100 of of the deal, We understand travel expenses and special requests even, but $100 for me to get a basic stamp on 2 docs, you are wrong, and should be reported, that's not serving the people as it should be and you should be reported...and if you make me I will come back on here and proveit!!!
