I sent my son to them and paid for the services for a divorce. He was assigned to another attorney who evidently was a flight attendant, and my understanding is that Turner was a pilot. Please look elsewhere for an actual attorney. My son was screwed over again and again by this firm. He has paid dearly for this firm's mistakes.

Scheduled appointment after discussing my needs over phone.
Inquired if it was something that would be better if I contacted a Fulton county attorney and was told it was not an issue. Proceeded to scheduled the appointment for three days later. Upon arriving at the office I was informed it was supposed to be a phone consultation. Maybe my mistake. Was told the Attorney was in a mediation and I could meet with his para legal. While waiting another appointment came in and seemed to have the same issue. After meeting the paralegal I was informed the Attorney would be getting back to me latter or the next day once he reviewed the notes. When i contacted the paralegal days later to find out why I had not heard back I was informed again he was busy but would get back to me
Two days latter I called again to see why no one was responding.
I was then informed by Debbie Jones the Paralegal that due to their busy schedule they were not taking cases that may involve appearances at Fulton County. Since both of these issues or concerns I raised at the initial consult its hard for me to understand. Glad your busy and wish you continued success but you didn't need to waste my time

Horrible experience! Used them about 5 years ago and still think about how they totally screwed me. They will not return your calls or do anything after you pay your retainer. He didn’t know what was going on the entire time and I had to get information from my ex husbands divorce attorney. Waste of money and complete schemers. I honestly can’t believe they are still in business. The positive reviews have to be either friends or paid reviewers

Me. Turner is a no BS-guy who is very knowledgeable and efficient. He has handled a few issues for me and he wasted no time in cutting to the chase and getting these things resolved in minimum time. This makes him an anomaly in the legal field around here - he doesn’t believe in over-billing and accomplishes things in a very timely and professional manner. Highly recommend!!

Went to them for a child custody battle. most men are worried about custody battles cause they hear Georgia is a mother state. But everyone in this office Cathy, Debbie, Kirsten, and Darrin worked as fast as they could even during the covid-time to get paperwork filled out and filed and further proved that a dad has equal rights and won't let fear of the unknown or myths discourage their clients. when a opposing attorney office calls them with attitude or attempt to run over them, they have your back and don't hold any punches and were never once intimidated and became aggressive right back. They dish out harder than a army vs marine rivalry. Can't say enough. I highly recommend them to anyone. Veterans I encourage you to seek them out as well. They don't just say they will work with you. THEY WILL work with you. The payment plan they work out with me didnt just work, it helped keep me from stressing about my bills. I was still able to cover all my monthly expenses and pay for their services with money still left over at the end of the month. As a lifetime client after my 1st request for their service I stand by them. please understand all cases are unique and has their own set of challenges. but they are more than qualified to adapt and overcome to each situation. if they don't contact you with a update. it only means they don't have a update to give yet. THEY WILL CALL OR EMAIL. all cases have a time frame by law where each step must be given a certain amount of time for the opposing party to respond. They will keep you updated. Time is money and they don't want to waste your time or money to tell you they haven't got a response yet. This team doesn't just value you as a client. they value making sure that you don't pay more than you should and care about saving you time and money as well. it's not about the money to them. as crazy as that sounds. believe me I'm shocked about it too. it's about giving you the best and getting you your rights and justice you deserve.

Never, ever, EVER hire Darrin.

I am actually considering a malpractice lawsuit against Darrin. He was responsive at the very beginning. That lasted all of 3 days after he received the initial retainer. Thereafter, it took weeks and multiple e-mails to get a response out of him for serious issues; the responses still did not contain answers.

Starting from the beginning - Darrin encouraged me to enter into a temporary order that 8 months later is still hanging over my head. He encouraged me to agree to a preposterous spousal support number without any sort of CYA's. There was nothing in there to protect my credit or financial well-being. He encouraged me to enter into an agreement I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy under the premise that the final hearing was just around the corner. He forgot to mention how easy it was for the opposing party to cancel a final hearing. How bad was it? Bad enough for me and good enough for the opposing party that 8 months later, I'm still stuck with this agreement. That's right people -Darrin got me to agree to something SO good for the opposing party, that they have been pushing the final hearing back for 8 months.

It gets better - opposing counsel took 2 months to provide a draft of the temporary order. When it finally came in, it was forwarded to me. There was plenty in there that was not agreed to, so I provided my comments to Darrin. He took them and sent them to opposing counsel, adding absolutely nothing of his own. Apparently, he never reviewed the revised version before it was filed because pretty much everything that I identified that didn't belong there remained. So now, thanks to Darrin and his incompetence, there is an insanely debilitating temporary order that has been in place for 8 months that has things in it I never even agreed to.

Back to being unresponsive - Darrin and his horrendous, incompetent staff would literally take 2 weeks and longer to respond about issues. I had to file a contempt charge on my own because it was clear I would never get guidance from him regarding the opposing party not following the order. There was one thing they were VERY quick to correspond about - billing and payment. Anytime my retainer was even close to running low, I would receive multiple e-mails per week about payment while my e-mails about serious issues in the divorce went unanswered.

If this is what you seek in your attorney during the toughest time of your life, Darrin is the guy for you!
