I got turned away 3 times. Understanding that they get Grants for being Federally recognized Tribal Department. Still, there are Indigenous Alaska Natives out there WHOM are struggling due to being Below Poverty Level searching for assistance. I had told them that being harassed by an soon to be Ex-husband. Still got turned away. Embarrassing how we search for help that's why there , there. But we get turned away. Shaking my head.

If I if I could do-5 * I would. I feel like these people shipped my son and I out of Alaska due to DV down to Washington to basically rot without any kind of follow-up or reaching out to find out if everything is going good with us. Was told before we left that it was going to be a smooth transition for us and there's nothing smooth about it. Now left in Washington homeless and hungry for the past 3 months without anybody even giving any kind of assistance on checking to see how we are doing. Yes I have tried and texting numerous times for the past three months without any kind of calling or texting back. I do not recommend these people for anything just because of their lack of communication with DV survivors to make sure that they are okay. There is nothing okay about being homeless and hungry for 3 months. That coming from an Alaskan native who is a survivor of domestic violence and a recovering drug addict

Most the time you get good knowledge and the help forsure is worth it especially if you have no knowledge of how court works I just wish they helped with more than just dv just general knowledge would be great cause the regular court house is rude and hard to get an appointment

One of many programs at CITC NATUH building "our place" helping natives better themselves. With job training and placement, drug and alcohol treatmemt, family services, tribal aid, drumming practice, potlucks ,childcare kids programs. Basically if it's something to help local native people they have and in it.
