It has been a pleasure working with Katharina. She has facilitated multiple mediations for our family and we couldn't be happier with her service. Katharina is amazing. I have an extremely difficult family situation (alcohol, abuse, dementia/anosognosia (look it up, awful!), bipolar, narcissism, I could go on) and Katharina was kind, insightful and helpful with her incredible listening and reflection skills. I found Katharina through a mediation website, when I was looking for help with a difficult ex-spouse & my estranged children. I ended up getting help/coaching on nonviolent communication methods. Working with me one-on-one via zoom, Katharina helped me learn to communicate my feelings and needs in a more organized, proficient & understandable manner. Katharina Dress provides a wonderful service that can help families deal with very very tough decisions and seemingly impossible problems and help them create a plan that is win for everyone involved. Katharina does not take sides and is persistent, resourceful, patient and a good communicator. She can handle difficult personalities and can help everyone to overcome their fears in order to tackle the challenges. She is especially good at working with families where seniors need to make changes like moving out of their home or transitioning control over finances. She works with families facing dementia, alzheimers, and other disabilities and also with families who are grieving and fighting over inheritance disputes.

Katharina Dress of Aging in Harmony provides conflict management services to families, especially those who experience discord, so that they can successfully make plans for their aging parents, deal with family finances, and better communicate with each other. Relying on the tenets of Compassionate Communication, her services, via Zoom (!) and in-person, include facilitated family meetings, elder care mediation, and conflict coaching to persons who want to change a communication dynamic. Over the years, she has helped numerous families; in fact, with one family, the daughters, estranged from each other, and their mother met with Katharina regarding their mother's care and estate plan and the experience was so positive the daughters insisted on going through the same process with their father (long divorced) and Katharina.

I highly recommend going to Katharina prior to any attorney at the onset of conflict. I strongly feel her approach could have saved my family a lot of money and strife. She could have helped facilitate conflicts to a mutual ground of understanding without a doubt. Lovely lady with her heart is in the right place for all considered. Her experience and dedication to create harmony is a gift to complex situations, just wish I had found her ALOT sooner.
