Absolute title agency did the title work for my late mother in-law on a couple of properties. We found out quickly from our realtor that notice of interest and first right of refusal was filed on her property by Mathew Lloyd of Absolute title agency. I contacted Matt and asked why he filed this with the county and his response was he was interested in buying the property. I asked him several times to kindly remove the notice of interest so the grieving family could free the title and list the property. He could then make an offer at that time. He refused to remove the notice of interest. After receiving a copy of the document I noticed the date. It was signed an notarized on a Sunday, she passed on Saturday. Matt who knew my MIL for years did not reach out with condolences, send a card, attend the celebration of life or ever said sorry for your loss. He chose to file notice of interest and first right of refusal 24 hours after her death. WVC needed to purchase a small slice off the back of the lot. The title agent with WVC tried for over (4) months to get Matt to sign the release so they could complete the purchase. Meanwhile the over a year has passed and the family still was paying the mortgage, utilities, dealing with squatters and repairs. Matt, still refusing to remove the notice of interest the family had to hire an attorney and threaten legal action to finally get him to remove the baseless filing. You really need to be able to trust your Title professionals.

I have worked with Matt on numerous transactions over my 5 years in real estate. Because they are a smaller title agency, he's been able to get things done that many other just won't put the effort into. He's always been extremely professional and friendly. I'm particularly happy about the fact that I know he'll go anywhere to get papers signed which is immensely helpful for many of my clients. I highly recommend.

Our builder, X3 Homes incurred design fees without our consent. We asked the designer to halt services and we worked with them to resolve the issue. They continued to bill us for work the builder requested after we asked them to halt services and stopped responding to our emails to resolve the issue.
The day we were scheduled to close, Krysta said they’d be unable to close unless we paid the outstanding balance to the design house. We were very upset since there was no contract with the designer and the billing wasn’t ours. We paid because we had movers that couldn’t be rescheduled.
Krysta handled the closing. We felt very uncomfortable with how unprofessional she was throughout the closing. She mentioned her live in boyfriend at least a dozen times. As she kept talking we realized that her boyfriend was the builder. It felt very unethical that she used her position to force us to pay a bill that was not ours. To make matters worse, after we signed all the documents she told us that we weren’t allowed to move into our new home after recording. It was clear she was not acting as a neutral party and had a financial stake in the closing. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and ethics.

Have done only 1 transaction, after that took me 4 months, every day text till he adjusted and refound my money due to his mistakes. Never on your way again.
And its funny how only you and your wife reviewd 5 star on your bussiness, and one of your friend, that explains all.
