I felt I was wrongfully terminated from a software company a few years back. I spoke with Mark and he very patiently listened to my story and then explained how the law worked in my situation. He was helpful and very clear about the things he could do for me and also what was not practical to pursue. They were a great help for me at a time when I needed some real guidance. I went in for consultation, my case was reviewed and was told that I had a case. I was given a packet to review and fill out. I did what I was asked, filled out the information that was requested and did not hear back from the firm. I reached out to them several times through emails but there has been no responses. The initial contact was made 10-2015 and it is now 6-2016. This doesn't seem very professional to me. 10 minutes after I posted this review I received a call at approximately 7:00PM by Mark Weidmann. I was immediately asked why I posted such a bad review. I began to explain my frustration with his firm not keeping me updated as to the progress of the case. It had been 3 months after initial consultation and a signed agreement saying his firm would represent me when I was asked to provide additional specific documentation, which I did. Then 4 more months transpired and still no updates after repeated emails sent requesting updates. I was stopped by Mr Weidmann and was told that did I ever think that the email had gone to his spam folder. I'm not a "Rocket Scientist" but if my email had gone to their Spam folder and they knew emails sent to them had gone to their Spam folder in the past, they would check the Spam folder daily for emails mistakenly sent to Spam. I was abruptly stopped by Mr Weidmann talked to like a child,not as a client and accused of hollering at him. He was very agitated and raising his voice while I was explaining my frustration with his firm. After I told him that my wife was sitting next to me and was listening to our conversation and that he was the one hollering I was told by him he couldn't talk to me now and that he would call me the next day 6-2-2016. I never heard from him. Today 6-7-2016 I received via a FedEx delivery all my documentation I had submitted and a letter stating he could no longer represent me in my wrongful termination suit and that if I wished to further pursue the case that I had better do it quickly because there were deadlines that were fast approaching. The Law Firm Weidmann & Farrar never contacted my former employer to give notice and never filed. This is the absolute worst treatment and misrepresentation that I have ever had in any business dealing with Lawyers. If any decides to retain this firm BEWARE.

Pretty sure they don't do any type of consultation or legal assistance unless its something they feel like doing or have time for..and don't bother them with your questions or info because they don't know either. What they do know is how to rush and refer you to do more…? Research? Obviously if i called I've done research obviously if i say I've already spoken with the DFEH (department fair employment and housing) I've researched more than just thinking about feeling like my feelings were hurt and now want to sue someone. But don't waste your time here because they know nothing that involves what i read from researching their website and which "firm" seemed closest and knowledgable… they had the close part perfect. Knowledgable, not hear. seems they are the firm that hears someone say they want to sue someone then jumps at the sound of the check printing..DFEH seems kinda pointless to me knowing lawyers that say the specialize in an area have no clue what the STATE OF CALIFORNIA DFEH does at all or their process, nope just "what was the question?"….nah never mind waste of time when people just do what they want and treat you like you were stupid for contacting them because they know nothing of what i thought i read and researched about them online…nice job big wig law firm what do you guys specialize in? oh right nothing i saw them list online as what they do…again not eve sure they know

I CALLED IN THE MORNING AND YOUR GIRL WAS A BIT SHORT WITH NO SENSE OF URGENCY. WAS VAGUE IN DIALOGUE. THEN WE CALLED BACK LATER AND SHE JUST GAVE US A RUDE ANSWER AND BRUSHED US OFF. I AM NOT SURE ABOUT YOU , BUT IF MY EMPLOYEE ACTED LIKE THAT SHE WOULD HAVE THE DOOR HANDLE IMPRESSION ON HER ASS FOR EVER.
