I was sued for "specific performance" by the buyer in a real estate deal in which I was the seller. The sale was delayed because of misrepresentation by the real estate broker. Equity Legal LLP filed an effective answer to the lawsuit and negotiated a settlement, with the buyer paying the agreed-upon price and the broker providing satisfactory compensation to both me and the seller for the delay.

One feature of Equity Legal LLC that I appreciated was their team approach. Most of my communication was with a competent, moderately experienced attorney. She consulted with a senior attorney as needed, and routine tasks were completed by a paralegal or legal assistant. This resulted in fair and reasonable costs, with tasks accomplished by individuals whose expertise and hourly rate fit the task.

Overall, I had a good experience with Equity Legal. They made a stressful situation much less distressing and reached a satisfactory resolution for me.

My family had been experiencing a difficult time with a second lien loan company. We hired Equity Legal and from the beginning, their team made us feel secure and the provided so much knowledge and reassurance on what our options were. I contacted Equity Legal, LLP for assistance in breaking my lease with a combative landlord. Once I explained my situation and provided my attorney, Breana Vidauri, with documentation in support of my case, she called me back within a week or so for a consultation. From the questions she asked me, I could see she had thoroughly reviewed the information and had a good grasp of the situation.

Breana prepared a demand letter to the landlord that was comprehensive in citing lease agreement violations and providing specific instances of case law in response. Her arguments turned out to be very persuasive as the landlord ultimately signed a settlement agreement to pay damages and allow me to terminate the lease early. I am very pleased with the outcome. Breana and her staff were always very professional and pleasant in their interactions with me.
