I would give more than 5 stars, if possible. David and his team were so easy to work with and took ownership of our family law matter. They were professional, timely, quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and experts on exactly what was needed and the next steps. From the initial consultation, we were comfortable choosing them and had great confidence in our decision. Heiman Law Firm proved our confidence to be sound and well-placed. Mr. Heiman has worked with my family for 10 years, through custody hearings, child support enforcement and protective orders. He and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, communicative and kind. David truly cares about his clients and their children, and works tirelessly to help get the best results. He is realistic and very experienced, particularly in Denton County, and will tell you what's reasonable, what isn't, and the best way to get the result you need. He answers emails promptly, within hours if not minutes. His office staff is equally kind and do their best to help. Today, for example, I called, but hung up and decided to email instead. Last year I was hit with a completely unexpected, potentially costly business issue that had me feeling quite concerned. I just happen to mention it to David while we were engaged in completely unrelated business and he kindly offered to take a look and see what he could do to help.
David took over and along with his team began a back and forth negotiation on my part over the course of several months. When all the dust had settled, I could not believe what he was able to accomplish on my behalf. I cannot tell you what an overwhelming relief it was to see where we ended up from where we started. It took a huge load off of me to say the least.
David has been in the legal service of others for decades and it shows. He is calm and capable when most of us are operating on emotion instead of experience and knowledge. I am very grateful for his help and do not hesitate to recommend him.
