Denise handled all of the paperwork for the divorce that I went through. Denise was kind, patient, courteous, explained everything that we had questions about and her price was very reasonable - which she detailed once it was understood what type of divorce (and associated paperwork needed to be filed) was determined - there was never a discussion of pricing before that time.

When I would ask a question that was leaning towards asking for legal advise, she made it 100% clear that she cannot give out legal advise in a calm, professional and gentle manner.

Copies of the filed documents were also mailed to me promptly. When I called asking for a status update several months later, she was honest in stating that once the paperwork was filed it goes on the court's time, and gave me a rough idea of how long it usually takes (which was very accurate).

I appreciate her honesty, candor, and straightforward way of explaining the details. Denise has always had a calm demeanor and is compassionate towards the situation at hand, as it can be very difficult and/or stressful. In all the time that I have worked with Denise I have never felt judged or like anyone in her office was looking down their nose at me - everyone in the office has been kind and respectful.

Her office also has a waiting room at the front which has legos - our kiddo was having a lot of fun playing with the legos while my ex-wife and I took our respective turns filling out the paperwork.

I hope that I never get divorced again, but if that occurs, Denise would be the first person that I would call. Due to everything I've stated above, she has earned my trust and respect.

I’ve used this law office a couple times now. Obviously, not good if you say “you come here all the time” 🙂 but if you ever need assistance with divorce or family law and don’t want to spend a fortune you should come here. Denise’s Family law has a small office in Martinez and it’s near downtown. I’ve only met Denise and her assistant. They are so friendly and so helpful. Denise will work with you in regards to appointments and payments.

If you call them and they don’t answer, leave a message and they will return your call. I’ve recommended family to Denise, so I am recommending her to you all, if you need family law services. Just Incase, her office looks like a home made into an office and parking lot is in the back so you don’t worry about paying a meter :).

Definitely disappointed. The sign at the door says yes we're open but upon being greeted it is with someone that brushes you up and down, asks what you want as if you would come in for any other reason other than to be a client. You state your business and now they don't currently accept whatever cases you want to hire them for even though it is clear they do family law. I seemed to have not been dressed to her liking, her ROSS purchased GUESS bag must be too superior to me.
