I shopped this morning and only self checkout lanes were available! I had a large amount of groceries and continually had to wait for help as I had to move items from the bagging area! There is no room for that amount of groceries! Hard to believe not one regular lane was available for customers getting a large amount of groceries! Then in the self checkout area there is only one employee to assist with all the customers needed help. It took almost as long to check out as it did for me to shop! I don't blame the unlucky employee at the self checkout, as this is a management issue!
Please open some regular lanes when the store is busy! I love the freshness and selection Kroger's provides, but please make it easier to checkout!!!

This location is generally kept well stocked and organized. However, it is poorly staffed during peak shopping times particularly evenings and Saturdays. It is common to have 30+ people waiting to check out and only 1-2 lanes with cashiers and 2 employees manning the self checkout areas.

Store would benefit from having a dedicated self checkout for customers with 15 items or less.

This used to be a well run store. It is still well stocked. But it is very under-staffed and the over worked staff usually has an "attitude". I will drive (and so will others I know in the same area) several miles to avoid the unnecessarily long lines and slow movement - not enough cashiers or even self-help stations opening and functioning to adequately serve their customers. Not enough grocery stores in neighborhoods now and with population growth the monopolies can charge what they please - using various economic scenarios for price gouging. Some decent specials and decent choices still if you shop wisely- but the staff needs a major over haul and increase in number. ( If you are going to full automation the machines need to be functioning and self-repairing, too. Also, a customer discount for doing their own work. )

Worst kroger I've ever been to, maybe the worst on the planet.

No carts or baskets to use.

There was a cart every fifteen feet in the parking lot.

Partly the neighborhood issue but definitely would avoid this place at all costs because it's just embarrassing.

It looks like a normal Kroger. Large selection of food and supermarket items at low prices.
* 🎂🥖🍩 Bakery
* 🍗 Deli, and inexpensive hot fried chicken meals
* 💊 Pharmacy, and OTC medicine and health products
* ⚕️"Little Clinic" in store, in conjunction with St. Vincent's
* 🌹 Very large floral department, with flowers sold at low prices. Location demonstrates why Kroger calls itself "the largest florist in the world."
* Kroger "house brands" seem competitive to major brands in quality, and tend to be substantially lower in prices. I especially like the Big K Citrus Drop cola; and the Kroger Cheddar & Sour Cream Ripples potato chips.

Born and raised in Speedway, come back for the race nearly every year. I will not be going back to this Kroger for a long time. This store has really gone downhill. Cashiers were rude acted like they couldn't be bothered. Store is crowded and the other shoppers just walk around at a turtle pace no one has a concern for others. Not a place I want to go anymore.

Always a good experience when the workers are happy to help! She informed me of the pop deal even went and grabbed it for me! Someone passing by called her the Mom of Kroger! S/O to her!

This Krogers is a nightmare. The store set up is just weird and confusing. It's always just so busy. Limited carts all the time. Staff can be rude. No restrooms that I see. Pharmacy. Clinic. Very fresh and good priced cut flowers. Produce is usually pretty good.
