Thank goodness HWCC is in Humboldt County - I have brought two birds in and they graciously took them in. Today was a hurt baby hummingbird . Thank you to all the volunteers who help these wounded animals - you are so so appreciated. I will be continuing to donate to this phenomenal organization.

Brought a little birdie in today that appeared to be stunned. The people at the center were so kind and grateful. They also told me the plan for the little guy, which gave me peace of mind. He or she should be safely back home in no time!

I called with questions about feeding the finches & pine siskens, the person was very helpful and gave good information on how to prevent disease spread. They are a good resource! Also they helped me with a rare wild bird I found injured. They came to pick up the bird and take care of it.

I called the center to see if they could care for an injured Raven. The person on the phone was very helpful. I took the bird to the center and was promptly greeted and given a case number to check on said bird. Very happy with the experience. Thanks.
