Over the past 6 years, I have interviewed countless attorneys and hired a couple of them to represent me. I never felt like I was represented with compassion and much effort until I met Shelby Scott. I can not stress enough how pleased I was with her services. She was very knowledgeable and competent. I will always be grateful for her help resolving my situation. I contacted Shelby Scott’s office at one of the most difficult times of my life. From the very first moment her office staff answered the phone to the very last time I had contact with Ms Scott and her staff, it was nothing but supportive, encouraging, understanding, and caring. Her office seems more like they are family, because you feel they way they all care and work so well together. The communication was consistent and compassionate. I never once felt like I was a bother to anyone with all my questions and concerns. Ms. Scott genuinely cares about doing the right thing, for the right reasons. I recently went through the hardest part of my life. My son passed away, taken way too soon and I was left with trying to pick up the pieces pretty much alone. My granddaughter was left without her father and I made a very easy decision to try to get custody of my granddaughter. The hardest part was not knowing how to even get started. I met Shelby Scott at the courthouse where I set out one morning to gain knowledge of the process. Shelby was there ,me not even knowing who she was , ask her a question in passing. Shelby stopped what she was doing and talked with me and shortly after I knew she was the attorney I wanted to represent me .
