We enjoy the children’s area of this library weekly and check out books each time! Given they are children’s books, many of them have torn pages or damage - no big deal. Until you get charged for damage likely done over time through many “check outs” and returns. We recently returned a book and received notice that it was “water damaged” and we now have to pay for it ($25 for a children’s picture book!)

Make sure you look over your books before checking them out and don’t leave with them until an employee has noted the damage, otherwise you’ll be at risk of a blocked account with a substantial charge.

My boys love coming to this library but the last visit wasn’t pleasant. We went to check out a book and was told we had a blocked account because we turned in a damaged book. We had to pay for the book, plus side we got to keep it. My son told me it was already there but didn’t think it was big deal. On the way home my boys were looking through the new books it make sure they didn’t have any damage to them. I told them for know on we will make sure since we had to pay for someone else’s mistakes. We have been coming here for years and it was frustrating that they didn’t believe us. Lesson learned!

Love this library! The staff is super friendly and always available for help. They have a great selection of books, physical and online. Also nice spaces to read with a good view of the park.

Nice library in Springdale right next to the community pool, lake, and park. Large rooms, including teen area and a huge children's room with a conference/movie room and fenced in outside area. They have the most events out of any library we have been to in NWA including festivals, music performances, reading to therapy dogs, craft classes, and movies. Only issues are that sometimes events are not shared in advance or on social media. Also they have not checked in my books before when I turn them in and then told me they are overdue. So I had to go in and find them on the shelf.

I love this library. It is very humble in appearance, but they have so many different resources for people in the area to use and it is criminally underused. I have never had a problem getting a book I wanted and they keep their stock updated with new titles. My only suggestion would be more staff book picks!

Helpful, friendly staff. Some nice reading areas, with big windows, that look out onto the fishing pond of the park next door. Fountains flowing, swans and geese swimming...just a peaceful place to get away from the city without actually going anywhere.

Im volunteering here and they are so helpful. They show you what to do. They polite and they help as much as possible. Their is one thing I do wish they had tho. I wish they had more LGBT books but at least they have some unlike some libraries. I love this place and can't wait to volunteer next summer and every summer until I can't volunteer anymore.
