Kent Brand is someone you just have to meet to know how compassionate, kind, and authentic he is; words cannot begin to describe how great a counselor he is. I was struggling with an addiction for 10+ years and one day I realized I needed help overcoming, not only the addiction, but my feelings of inferiority, anxiety, and believing I was a failure. Kent provided the tools and skills to overcome my shortcomings and help me to look at myself in the mirror and know that I am someone who is worthy of love, peace, and happiness. My favorite characteristic of Kent is that at the foundation of everything he did for me was the love of Jesus Christ. He treated me with a heartfelt love and never once expressed any judgement or condemnation for my past actions or relapsing during my recovery. Kent is amazing with children, he uses a professional play therapy that really helps our daughter get through the trauma she has been through, she has became very brave & open with her feelings in just a few short sessions. I swear he is Godsent for our little family. We are treated like friends & family when we visit Kent he doesn't make us feel any other way. I would give 10 stars if there was 10 stars to give. Dr. Kent Brand is the BEST counselor I have ever encountered! I'm 25 years old and have struggled with addiction for the past 10 years. I have been imprisoned and institutionalized more times that i can count. So as a result of my previous lifestyle i had been forced to see many different counselors and never could find the right one. Until i met Kent and he completely changed my outlook on counseling and the best part i wasn't forced to see him, i just did because he is a great counselor. He has accepted me and never tried to force me into meetings and groups that i'm not at all interested or comfortable with like other counselors have always done in the past. I truly appreciate everything Kent has done to help me overcome my problems. And I wish him nothing but the best success, and to anyone out there struggling i highly recommend Kent Brand! 🙂
