I met Gail in 2016. We didn’t get off to a really good start but somehow some of the best relationships are started. That way helped Matt tremendously stay out of prison! She fought and she fought really hard for me. She was a pro bono lawyer not making a cent, Gail is a no nonsense type of person throughout the years. She help me in another case where I had hired her and also my son has she used her and she said a wonderful job for the whole family.

Although I didn't retain Gail, my review is based on the limited interactions I had with her. In my opinion, she appears more concerned with money rather than making her clients feel cared for. I spoke with her in detail regarding a criminal matter, and she did not give me a good impression at all ... I also question some of the legal advice she gave me. For context, I've had a lot of experience with attorneys, having retained about five throughout my life for various reasons. Maybe someone else will have a better experience with her, but I sure didn’t. PS: To be fair, I’m not the easiest client to deal with, which is part of the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Ms. Shifman seemed experienced and knowledgeable, but her number one priority is money. She will take any case that will benefit her financially regardless of outcome. She will also manipulate the contract to her advantage knowing very well that folks are in a tight position and often do accept her terms. She makes greedy lawyers look good. Best advice : look for someone else .
