Everyone at WH Law were made my first experience with a law firm great. If you are thinking about going with them I recommend it because the process was straightforward and simple. I went with them after carefully reviewing other firms but their website and energy really stuck out to me!

When you see only one and five star reviews, beware. Usually, the one star reviews are the real ones. Anyone can leave a review, and you can bet that companies give themselves good reviews. I wish I'd checked closer before I hired them. They do a hard sell in the initial consultation, promise everything you need, and then they communicate solely through an app. I told them that I needed a lawyer I could actually talk to, they said no problem, and it's now been over a month and they only communicate through their stupid app, which doesn't work most of the time. I asked for my money back, because they didn't do what they promised in the initial consultation, and they just haven't responded. I would NOT reccommend hiring this company, you are not an important client, just a quick buck for them. I'm probably going to have to file a grievance against them with the state bar, and hire yet another attorney to get my money back. This is the last thing I wanted to deal with, especially while I'm having other legal issues.

PLEASE do NOT make the same mistake I did and hire them for ANY FAMILY LAW MATTER!!

During my phone consultation, they filled me with hope and said I had good evidence supporting my case and they had all the confidence they needed UNTIL I hired them and paid $4,500 for the complete fee of the whole process. I was appointed an attorney that I later found out had ZERO experience and background in family law. There's a HUGE lack of communication within the staff and so many people for one task that many details gets left out. The person that did the consultation isn't even at the Fayetteville location. It's just a sales person that reels you in to get your money. I rarely talked to or heard from my attorney until several months in. About 8 months in, my attorney bailed and went to another firm, leaving my new attorney to learn my case less than 2 months before my court date. On the day of court, no one within the company knew what court house I needed to be at. Once I finally got to the correct place was when I first met my new attorney which she advised me that the evidence I had wasn't what would normally be justified as a material change of circumstance which pushed me to have to withdraw the case or move forward which would also allow my ex to potentially change custody in her favor.

So not only did I get scammed for $4,500. They also fumbled the paperwork and communication to make sure the court ordered mediation was covered before mediation so I was surprised with having to pay $300 after mediation was done.
I also have to pay $1,000 for my exes attorney fees.

W.H. Law of Fayetteville is an absolute JOKE!
I pray they get shut down for malpractice.

They listen to you when you're a new client, but prepare to be ignored and forgotten after they get you in. I was treated better in the past, but they obviously experienced a change in staff that has eroded their ability to establish good client relations. I would try the next lawfirm first.

I was lucky to have found this law firm. I tried calling everyone else in my area and no one would return my call or even get in touch with me until I contacted this office. It was nerve wracking trying to figure out how to pay for my expenses and creditors after losing my job to due to my health. This place finally gave me the help I needed to restart my life.

I was tired of stressing myself out over things that I no longer had control. Bill collectors calling and me trying to help put my daughter through college and having two more teenagers to support became overwhelmed. And prices of everything being so high is unbelievable.

My daughter in law gave me the phone number to call to see if they could help me. I am retired and my benefits are limited.

Taking out online loans is not the answer and getting two to three $500 each credit cards with extremely high interest rate is not the answer either. Also pay day loans may sound good but they really are not. You can pay for a while but once you get behind it's really hard to catch up.

Once I spoke with Penny she explained to me what would happen and I asked her what I would have to do she told me and I done them. Me not being electronic savvy it was rough on some things but with the help of my college daughter and the people behind the scenes at case status we made it. I truly thank them for being patient with me and assisting my needs.

Peace of mind is coming!

And yes I will be doing things differently!

I really wanted to like this law office. The consultation was very fast. My needs and timeline were discussed and they seemed like they could really help me, so I paid my retainer and then I was ghosted. I have been practically begging for some form of contact and I just get the office hours message or a general I'll pass this along message. Well, now that they have drug their feet, we missed a very important deadline. This has been detrimental to my case and I am out of luck due to their unprofessional conduct and mishandling of my case. No services were rendered to me and they refuse to speak with me about getting back my retainer. I am now resorting to leaving a review hoping for some kind of response from this law office.
