I was recommended to Glen Hammond by a friend. I went and read reviews on him and his firm. I will say this: who my friend described and who the reviews described were exactly the person that I met.

I had spoken (free consultations)with a lawyer in flagstaff and a few others in phoenix about my case. The things I noticed about them were they were far more expensive, definitely put fear in me about my case, and pressured me to retain them ASAP or I’d be screwed.

After weeks of stressing, I decided I needed to find someone local. Someone who would take care and interest in my case. Someone who’s eyes I could see when I shake their hand. I went to see Glen. I paid a consultation fee. I had a feeling that if you get free consultations you might get pressured into something. I think I was right. Glen sat down with me for a very lengthy meeting. I never got the sense that he was looking at his watch. I had pages of questions and he was happy to answer any and all of them.

I let him know I could not afford the retainer right then and there. My first appearance was coming up in 10 days. He said it wasn’t a problem. Go to court and let them know I will be retaining outside council. They will give me another 30 days to appear and in that time I would have the money to retain him.

And so the day came, and I went to court. The prosecutor was a stand up guy (as Glen had told me because he’s had a lot of experience with him). He gave a plea deal. He gave the best deal I could possibly ask for. I had a good idea what this meant.

So, right after court I went into Glens office and showed him the deal. He read it, looked up at me and smiled and said,” well, it doesn’t look like you need me anymore”. What an amazing feeling. He was sincere.

Rather than pressuring me into spending $6-10k like the other lawyers, Glen gave me a sense of peace that there was a light at the end of this tunnel. The other guys wanted my money. I would’ve spent all that money just to walk into the exact same deal. I believe the sense of calmness i received after meeting Glen in some way or another helped me relax enough to vibrationally have this outcome.

Enough nice things can’t be said about Glen (and Donna, who works in his office). They are really great people. They mean well. I am grateful for the experience with them. Go read reviews for other lawyers. I spent two weeks doing that before I went to him. No bad reviews. What you read is who you get. Thanks Donna! And Thank you Glen!
