My experience with Robert Kozak was nothing short of exceptional. I came to Robert looking for legal direction and advice over a small business dispute. Robert very thoroughly examined my existing operating agreement and highlighted and explained relevant sections.

At no point was I rushed and Robert made sure I understood all advice clearly. Robert gave sound legal and business advice, and kept everything to a straight, honest answer. Robert even offered to help with additional, brief questions down the road as a part of this initial consultation.

Posting a negative review is serious business, but I have no choice. Mr. Kozak was hired to represent me in a case that had already been won against a developer through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. The developer appealed the ruling, and I was advised to seek legal representation. Over the course of multiple appeals, the developer lost, over and over.
As soon as I had a ruling, what should have happened was to file a claim against the developers Surety Bond, which insures performance. I was advised by Mr.. Kozak that a claim could not be filed until the appeals were exhausted. The other attorney he brought in to dispute the last appeal didn’t advise any differently. All that I was advised to do was to accept an offer that the builder had made before the case even began. Sadly, that amount wouldn’t even cover removal of the defective flooring that I was contesting.
The bill ran crazy, and by the time the appeal process was exhausted, the time limit for a claim against the developers bond expired. I was advised by the Bond Company that a claim should have been filed after I received the very first ruling.
Sadly, Mr Kozak seemed to be happy with his work. The developer is definitely happy, and I, have nothing good to say about either of them. I am sure they are enjoying a good laugh on me!
