We worked with Sabrina over the course of three years on various issues related to our child's IEP, and we couldn't be more impressed with her services. She came highly recommended and exceeded all of our expectations. Sabrina is compassionate, patient, strategic, and incredibly knowledgeable about special education law. She helped us rewrite existing goals and craft additional goals that were actually measurable and focused on our child's needs. She provided invaluable advice that allowed us to achieve our objectives in the most cost-effective way, eventually filing a due process complaint on our behalf. Her familiarity with key players in our local school district made a huge difference, as they very clearly respected her advocacy. We are grateful for her guidance and highly recommend her!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Sabrina and her team. We had already been in a long battle with the school district because our son's current placement was no longer working...to the point where it had become detrimental. We proposed a different placement to a school where we knew our son would thrive. But the district promptly denied the request for the new placement. It was at that time we hired Sabrina. Sabrina was very thorough, attentive, and fought hard for our son. In the end, Sabrina successfully got the district to agree to the new placement and our son is thriving! It's unfortunate that school districts often push back against parents who are only trying to advocate for their children. So if/when this happens, call Sabrina!

Sharing a true success story. Our 17 year old daughter will join her senior class 100% in Fall of 2024! After residential treatment school placement in 2022, 2 years of IEP and transitional work, Sabrina has been guiding us every step through our journey. We hired Sabrina because we weren’t getting traction from the school district for an NPS placement or even just plans in general for students transitioning out of elementary school. Sabrina stepped in and was a strong advocate for our child’s needs and now we’re happy with our movement now. Sabrina also provided extremely helpful coaching and guidance. Definitely recommended for families who need support for their special needs children.

Sabrina and the team at Axt Legal were a critical ally in our fight to ensure the best outcome for our son. They helped us navigate the IEE process, pick the 3rd party assessors, interpret the results, and prepare for the IEP meeting. We initially attempted to navigate the special needs education system on our own, but we quickly learned that without strong legal support (Sabrina) the District would not listen to us.
Sabrina listened, really listened, to our story and what we wanted for our son. And then she fought for us and alongside us ALL summer long. Two days before school started we FINALLY got the District to agree to everything we felt was appropriate for our special needs son and his unique needs. Two days! Now school has started and our boy is absolutely thriving in his general education placement, and he is growing more independent by the day.
Sabrina is kind, caring, honest, direct, and she will fight for your child(ren). We can’t say enough good things about her and we give her our highest recommendation.

We are very thankful that we had Sabrina on our side. Not only is she great at what she does, but she also walked us through the entire process. She is the fighter you want in your corner. I would never go through another IEP without someone on our side and Sabrina is the person we would turn to. If the time comes, we would want to work with her again. We have and will continue to recommend her because at the end of the day she was the key to making sure our child was put in a position to feel success in school.
