Do NOT use this firm if you value money or time. I hired 805 in 2023 for a relatively amicable divorce, as we were close to agreement on nearly everything. I naively thought it would be quick.

Now its 2025... and 3 different attorneys at 805 later, and STILL no closer to being divorced. I paid $25,000 for someone to request and process documents over and over and over.

What a tremendous waste of time, mental energy and money. I had to walk away from the $25K I spent with the firm, because I believe it would have taken as much money and time as I would have let them. They are not interested in getting you divorced, only billing hours.

Horrible! Did nothing for me and my family except take from us while doing absolutely nothing when it came to our vehicle accident case. Very inconsistent with keeping the same lawyer on our case, I had to communicate with 3 different lawyers in a span of 1 year with these guys.

I contacted 805 Law Group to get a prenup made, they advertise a free first consultation which sounded great. My fiance and I had prepared a list of questions which we asked during the call. The person on the other end couldn't really answer them and ended up saying near the end of the call that we should ask the attorney. We were under the impression that this was a consultation with an attorney. Their website says "Call us to schedule a consultation with our experienced marital agreements attorney", there is no mention that the consultation wouldn't be with an attorney. It was a complete waste of time.

It’s been three weeks and I am still waiting for my retainer to be returned. Do not hire them! They will spend thousands of dollars not doing very much, and they are impossible to get a hold of. Could not be more disappointed with hiring this firm.

My review of 805 Law Group as a whole is positive from the start. My initial meeting with Mr. Bill Ausman was productive and left me appreciating the empathy and sympathy that had been lacking in a 5 year complicated Family Law case that had me attached through on going and unnecessary discovery. Mr. Liceaga and Mr. Neus were phenomenal in advocating for me. Although, the cost is on the high end the cost/ benefit is peace of mind knowing that someone is on my side looking out for me. I have been turned away by many attorneys due to the "complicated" matter of the case and this Law Group was not afraid to take it on and has continued to be thoughtful in their use of services to charge.

During the consultation, they will talk you up, tell you it’s an easy open/shut case and then as you sign the paperwork, they will take your money and assign you to a super inexperienced attorney providing horrible representation. Read the one-star reviews. From my experience, most of the things mentioned in the recent year of negative reviews happened to me as well. Please hire a different attorney practice and don’t waste thousands upon thousands of dollars just to lose a case you probably should have won; especially if it’s a civil case.
