Most Excellent Support on a Complicated Estate.

After my mother passed away over a decade ago, her second husband remained in the home. Unbeknownst to me, he had defaulted on the mortgage during the pandemic, and I only discovered the home was in foreclosure when a buyer contacted my daughter. The situation was complex and emotionally charged, and the first attorney I consulted said there was little chance of saving the property.

Thankfully, I was referred to John P. Morgan at Rees Broome, and everything changed. John, his paralegal Susan V. Collins, and foreclosure specialist Matt Hunzeker stepped in, halted the foreclosure sale, located my mother’s will, helped establish me as executor, and guided me through every step of settling the estate. Their professionalism, clarity, and steady support made a world of difference.

This was not an easy situation—especially with strained family dynamics and legal complications—but John and his team navigated it all with skill and compassion. I felt genuinely supported throughout. I highly recommend John P. Morgan as an approachable, honest, and knowledgeable legal advisor, especially for anyone dealing with a challenging estate matter.

Firm represented my home owners association in a collection agency fashion.

1. They claimed I owed $400+, I paid it and protested the charge
2. Firm examined my evidence and returned my money
3. Firm claimed I could now interface with home owners association
4. It's been months and I still can't correspond with home owners association
5. I've contacted Rees Broome numerous times with no response from them

In my opinion, this firm is highly unprofessional, unethical, and incompetent. They approach every issue in an adversarial manner with little or no interest in resolving any impasse fairly and responsibly

This people are horrible, my account was sent to them cause I was behind with my HOA payments, I called them multiple times to make my payment and 1-they never answer and 2 when they answer they were very rude( no costumer service at all) they transferred me to the lawyer in charge and and he never picked up the phone or call back, they receptionist hung up the phone on me multiple times and after the 10th time calling she finally she told me to stop calling and wait for the lawyer to call me back, I stayed to her that I was trying to get In touch with him for the past month and he never answers or call back and she replied that I had to wait that whenever he feels like he it , he will call me back. This is the worse company ever, this is supposed to be a collection company to collect payment from people, but they refused to take my payment, what the hell is with this freaking company.

I had the worst experience ever! Dina is very rude and professional she never helped me got smart and disrespectful. They charged me 1000 worth of fees for no reason. Her boss Luke is even worst would not even have a conversation with me to see how I felt they just wanted my money. This place needs to be shut down. I wish I could no stars

I have had nothing but great experiences with this firm, and their expertise in the HOA field is invaluable. I am glad I have the opportunity to work with them on multiple clients. Kathleen Machado is a fantastic attorney and a dream to work with; she's knowledgeable, responsive, professional, and gets things done. I would be lost without her!

Obviously 0 is not an Option. My aunt has been calling these people for two months with no reply. Then I call them for two weeks with no reply. The receptionist provides me with email address and still no reply so I call back a week later to express my frustrations and mind you at this time my aunt's payments are still growing. A supervisor is contacted and finally a response. These people are thieves. They were accruing charges by not responding. I called the association today to let them know this is an illegal tactic and they should be addressed. It is not right that people have to pay more than what they owe so a law firm can pay their overhead.

These people get zero stars for their customer service. They need to be taught how to answer their clients. Their staff either goes to the office to play or not even go there. I called them over 100 times and they never respond and sent emails and voicemail, but they don't even care. Worst law-firm ever, I don't even know how they graduated school with zero experience on being professional.

Let me start by saying these few things: If I could give them 0 stars I would, response time is extremely unprofessional, follow up does not exist. If you are looking for a competent, transparent company that keeps you in the loop. Keep looking, you will NOT find that here.

I feel as if proper response time from the time a VM is left until the a phone call is returned should be about 48 business hours. I have left about 4 voicemails and sent an email and no one from Rees Broome has contacted me back. Instead they have been in contact with my HOA and have bypassed me.

I will say their front desk person has been friendly and helpful even though there is not much she can do. She is the only reason they even have a 1 star from me.
