I want to express my tremendous gratitude for the excellent legal work of my attorney, Sean Kavanagh, Esq., and his Paralegal, Blair Millican, of the law firm of Harbison & Kavanagh, on my Social Security Disability Benefits Claim Appeal. Two and a half years after I filed my claim, Mr. Kavanagh obtained a fully favorable decision on appeal at my hearing before an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ). The result could not have been better and was exactly what Mr. Kavanagh had requested. On February 24, 2025, the ALJ granted me retroactive and ongoing Social Security Disability Benefits based on the Disability Date of February 28, 2022 that Mr. Kavanagh had requested. As an attorney myself, I know that my case was extremely complex, requiring Mr. Kavanagh and Ms. Millican to process and review thousands of pages of medical records and to question two of my doctors for their testimony at my appeal hearing. It was not an easy case to try. Mr. Kavanagh and Ms. Millican selflessly put countless hours into their preparations for the hearing, and all of their hard work resulted in the best result possible. As an attorney myself, I know that Mr. Kavanagh is a highly skilled, intelligent, experienced attorney who is able to assess complex cases and identify the most important aspects to emphasize. He has the experience and judgment to know what is important to emphasize and what is not, given the limited amount of time you have to present your case at an appeals hearing. Extremely proactive and thorough in their work.
