I was represented by Mr. Skewes for a child custody hearing. He never left the office to get any information regarding the case. I had to present him all the information and when I would try to tell him the details of the case that I know from dealing with judges for 14 years would hold some water. He would talk over me and act like it was heresay. He charges way too much for a lack ass effort. If they offered half a star instead of a full star I would have chosen that. He went in unprepared and got schooled by an attorney that was twice as prepared and half his age. I recommend anyone else because all this guy does well is talk over you and make you nervous and pissed off. Then when we lost the case he acted like we won and assessed blame. Maybe if he asked questions that had some bearing on the case a win could have been a possibility. Disappointed in $10,000 paid is an understatement I could have represented myself better. The only person that would think he is credible has to be related to him.

Having gone through a terrible divorce, I don’t know what I would have done without this attorney and his staff. He is brilliant and leaves no stone unturned. He is tough, determined and completely dedicated to win. When you are in the fight of your life - this is the fighter you need on your side.
I also loved the expertise, compassion, patience and understanding of his staff. Can’t say enough positive things about my experience.

This man was the most condescending, prejudice, judgemental, disrespectful and close minded person I think I've ever met. And I've lived all over the US and encountered ALOT of people. A consultation with him is 100$ and I literally paid for gas and a consultation fee to be insulted, disrespected, and interrupted, just to name a few. I've dealt with my fair share of attorney's in my life. Some, very wonderful and positive experiences, but also some that weren't so great. This man however, just takes the cake. I'd never even given anyone one star or a review like this one until this past month and I've had to actually do two! A hostile hotel with the absolute worst sanitation and service, and now this abhorrent attorney with a Napoleon complex. This man literally told me that my medical diagnoses were incorrect and criticized things that I've had second third and third and sometimes even fourth opinions on primarily based on two of his immediate family members being Doctors. This was literally THE BIGGEST waste of my time and money ever. Extremely disappointed!

Mr skewes doesn't pull any punches. He'll tell you like it is and you have to go from there.
He is a little pricey but he does a great job. I would recommend him to anybody that needs a great lawyer that needs to get their kids back.

I had never paid someone $100 to waste a half hour of my time before I met this lawyer. He constantly cut me off and talked over me without listening to what my case was even about. Quite misogynistic, very privileged, and feels like a bully, but at least he will not be representing the person suing me.

Very rude. If he doesn't feel he can make serious money and have a sure win, he blows you off. Knew him before but that didn't matter. He was just as nasty and very, very short and rude. If I could have given zero stars I would have.
