Heideman & Associates is the best law firm in Utah! When I called them, my business was in a really bad state. Our Utah based supplier was had committed fraud and had literally stolen a large sum of money from us and other small businesses without delivering on their contractual promises. In fact, at that time, there were four pending lawsuits against this business. Heideman & Associates was able to work with me in litigating against the supplier and had the expertise to get the job done--and get it done right. I can't think of a better law firm and team to partner with and to have on your side. You need to hire them.

BE WARNED! I needed an attorney to protect my interests in the sale of my mineral rights. When I first spoke with Justin, I was excited because I thought he was intelligent, articulate and quick on his feet. Little did I realize he's also extremely arrogant, lazy (doesn't want to take the time to do anything right) and dishonest. He actually sent me a contract he told me to sign and return that he hadn't even read! When I realized there was not one single redline or change, I pressed him to see if he'd even looked it over. At first, he texted back yes. Then when I kept pushing because I could tell he hadn't, he backed off that answer and said he'd only checked at the deal points and they "looked inline." THEN, when I reacted with outrage because I'd nearly signed a document at the advice of counsel that contained added language that wasn't in the previous contract and would've committed me to more than what I'd agreed to do, he essentially admitted he hadn't read it at all but that I should "vet it" myself since I knew the deal better than he did. What? Are you kidding me? Vetting the contract was what I was paying him to do! After I fired him, I also had to hound him to get the balance of my retainer, and he made sure he took almost all of it, even though he could not have spent the time he claimed he did. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOSER! He will only make your situation worse AND cost you a lot of money.

Justin Heideman is unethical. He reviewed my case and I interviewed him then he assigned my case to his junior attorney who wasn’t able to make the right judgment call and continued to delay my case. He never showed up in court on my behalf and what he promised was far from what the junior attorney mentioned so I felt trapped and discussed it with him that he is being unfair and abusive. He chose to drop my case three days before the discovery deadline, two weeks before my brain surgery and his accountant bluntly told me that he doesn’t want to refund me on my terms. They are still unresponsive. I would strongly recommend you not to work with him. Don’t be fooled.
