My experience with Mr. Bartlett and his team has been deeply disappointing. Initially, I was hopeful, as Mr. Bartlett appeared to be caring and committed to advocating for my family's needs. However, it soon became clear that the majority of our interactions were handled by his paralegal, Jordane, whose demeanor has been unhelpful and dismissive.

Communication has been a significant issue; it feels as though our concerns are not prioritized, and responses are often vague or delayed. Additionally, the financial aspect of the services has been burdensome, with numerous hidden fees that seem designed to prolong our case rather than resolve it efficiently.

In court, I observed Mr. Bartlett struggling to navigate the proceedings, which left us feeling unsupported and disheartened. The lack of direct communication with Mr. Bartlett himself has further complicated matters, as consultations come at a steep price, making it challenging to seek clarity or guidance.

Overall, I feel that the focus has been more on financial gain rather than genuine care for clients' well-being. I strongly recommend seeking legal representation elsewhere—one that prioritizes client advocacy and provides transparent, compassionate service. Unfortunately, once engaged with this firm, it can be difficult to extricate oneself due to the financial strain incurred.

Our initial meeting went so well. He seemed kind and compassionate and told me about his late wife and how his child struggled with her passing. He seemed genuine and empathetic. And then we went to court and I wasn’t sure who he was representing. Just before our proceeding began, he felt the need to tell my rapist that anything he said in the civil matter could be used against him in a criminal trial and to be careful not to implicate himself since my rapist didn’t have an attorney yet.
On round two of the proceedings, he struck a deal with my rapist’s attorney to agree to supervised visitation for our daughters - something he did not discuss with me and assured me would not happen. His actions put me and my daughters in danger and I will never forgive him or the fact that I paid a lot of money to be betrayed.

I paid a retainer and then found out I had to wait 5 months to have our decree registered in this county before we could do anything. I had sent TONS of information to Jordane while waiting for this court date and she did absolutely nothing with any of it that whole time. She was rude and dismissive when I tried to ask her about next steps and all she said (again) was, "Just send me what you have." I decided to seek legal help elsewhere and she said they would send back what was unused of my retainer, which should be most of it since I only ever saw my actual attorney for about 45 seconds on a zoom call for the court date, and it has been over a month and I have not gotten anything back. Working with Jordane has done nothing but waste my time and tie up my money while dealing with her crappy attitude. 100% do NOT recommend.
