If you are getting a divorce and looking for alternatives, please find a way to get a lawyer instead of a mediator, especially these people.

To start, I spoke with David and it sounded very promising. He seemed to be impartial and it was comforting to work with someone who has done this before. This quickly changed when we were reassigned to Monica.

Monica was the worst experience I've ever had. She spent most of the 3 hour meetings talking about herself and her divorce and did not listen to what I was trying to tell her multiple times. She heavily favored my ex-wife in every hearing and consistently presented sloppy paperwork that required me to thoroughly read everything. They have no legal background. There were calls with my ex-wife without me present which seems to violate the "no sides taken" type of mediation I was looking for after presenting the initial divorce decree. Following that call, without any communication to me, they put in an 800/mo alimony charge to me and when we finally got into a meeting (over 2 weeks after getting this 'revised' decree) Monica made it about a personal issue, that has no bearing to my case. I explained I'm already paying child support, for children I see the same amount as the mother, and that if I had to pay 800 a month that I wouldn't have money left to even pay for gas or food. She said the court doesn't care and that's that. I met with 3 different lawyers and every lawyer knew this place by name and the people who work there and said that you cause yourself more issues working with them than just going to a lawyer. There are parts of my divorce that I am even afraid of confronting legally because I'm sure the paperwork was done incorrectly and can't be held up in court.

I do have to say that Sadie felt like a much better person to work with and I'm sorry she's roped in with the likes of Monica.

Final word, Do not come here. Get a professional who will fight for what you deserve instead of hoping the person you're assigned with, and your ex-partner, are fighting for what's fair for both parties.

As of March 15 2025, David informed me Monica no longer works here. Once he told me she no longer works there, he asked me to change my review. I told him I wouldn't because this was still my experience and once I said that he told me that this Google review 'violates Google's policy' and 'they sided with him' and if I didn't change my review in 24 hours he was going to pursue legal action against me. He was incredibly rude and didn't let me get a word in on my side. I was calling him to get a document that, like I mentioned above, was in response to vague or improper paperwork, and when I told him Sadie helped me for free he said 'the more that I talk with you the more pissed off I get' and didn't even remember he said he'd charge us 3700 for a flat fee, regardless of extra meetings or calls that we needed. When I tried to interject he said "IF YOU WOULD LET ME FINISH" so I hung up. I stand by my initial claim you should get a professional to help you. One of the lawyers I mentioned even offered to write a letter to demand a refund for free because she knows how poorly they do things around here.
