Josh and the entire staff at Edwards & Petersen are exceptional! Over the last 3 years I had utilized two other law firms until I found Edwards & Petersen. From the day I hired them, they were upfront, transparent and guided me on the reasonable goals for my case. Josh has a unique ability of strategizing for the unforeseen variables and issues at hand. The paralegal, Sabrina - is extremely communicative and beyond helpful as an additional resource. In any family law case, I would make certain there is paralegal assistance. I am happy to say that I finally found the right firm that had the ability to prioritize my sons best interest and accomplish 50% of his time with both his mom and his dad. The entire staff is incredible, this firm is extraordinary!

I would highly recommend Josh and the team at Peterson & Edwards. I first used them back in 2019-2020 and again in 2023-2024. Josh and his team are very helpful, knowledgeable, and dependable. If I could give more stars on google I would. Couldn’t thank them enough for the help they provided me over the years. If you want an attorney that has your back and will fight for you with family court situations, definitely give them a call.

Joshua Edwards is exactly the type of lawyer you want on your side when you're in need of competent and empathetic help with family matters. Mr. Edwards could have easily convinced me to file unnecessary paperwork with the court so that he could charge me for frivolous work. Rather, he gave me solid advice and advised me that it really was not required. Another law firm I consulted before his attempted to create busy work to produce a means to charge me a $600.00 deposit solely for filing fees. Mr. Edwards has been doing this for a long time, and that is more than evident when you sit down with him. This is the firm that you want representing you, their display of morals and ethics is phenomenal.

Avoid Josh at all costs!!! I don't believe for a second that Josh has this many good reviews. I would say the majority of these reviews are doctored. In my most vulnerable state, I was taken advantage of not by my ex-wife but by Josh. For the most part, my ex and I were in good agreement and needed help with certain particulars we just couldn't agree on, which is why I felt the need to turn to a lawyer in the first place. The moment Josh met with my ex and her lawyer, he immediately caused harm to my case. He had the idea that it was better that he handled the initial negotiations by himself with me in another room. Huge mistake. He created a mess of everything, and I had to talk my ex out of wanting more than what we had initially agreed upon. After I was able to come to terms with my ex on my own about nearly everything again, Josh was able to ruin it all over again. At this point, he did not want to represent me. Passively, he was begging me to fire him, which happened to be at the end of the process and the most critical part. I ultimately did because he made it so difficult that nothing was being done except charging my credit card.
He started off strong and seemed to be on the ball about everything, but as the months wore on, he became negligent and almost put off that I didn't want to email him too frequently so he could charge me a $60 response. He charged me 12 min to read and respond to a single question. He would take calls while driving through traffic and often forget things discussed in those conversations and wait until you set up another phone call or email so he could charge you again to remind him. He would advise me on how to handle situations, and after I did what he advised, he would ask why I made such a poor decision.
Going through a divorce is the worst thing in the world, but to get screwed over twice is almost unbearable. It’s pretty bad when your ex feels bad for you enough that if I asked, she would also write a horrible review for him. I basically spent thousands of dollars for Josh to serve my ex and stall my divorce for nearly a year so that I would fire him before the job was over. It seemed as if he was done with me the moment we both decided we wanted to keep our case from going to trial. Please learn from my expensive mistake and stay far away. Sabrina, however, was awesome.

Brian was amazing throughout the entire legal process! I had several lawyers working on my case, but Brian was the only one who quickly solved problems and explained things clearly. I actually had to get rid of one of them when Brian came in as the hero. He and his team were professional, patient, and always there for me. They truly cared about me and my case. I would recommend him to anyone looking for legal services!

I had a great experience with them, Service was provided fast and explained thoroughly to me. My family case was not worth pursuing forward due to not being economically feasible and they were honest to tell me that rather than take advantage over me. I would recommend this service with their agency. Payment of services was also very easy and friendly.
