The commissioner's office has always been very helpful and responsive. Recently, a tree came down over a county road during a storm. I called, and it was cleared within 90 minutes (this wasn't a highway, no power lines involved,, and there was an alternate way around, which, to my mind makes this even more responsive). Then I called this week about a drainage issue -- clogged culvert, water overtopping road and beginning to wash out our property and neighbor's. The office had someone out within an hour. And despite being short-handed, as I know they are, they have a crew out today fixing it. Thanks!
