TERRIBLE experience with Nicole Carson. DO NOT HIRE! She did not do as promised and did a half ass job. She is so unprofessional she wont even return my calls to come to a resolution. Im over the wait and just felt like it was necessary to leave a review.

I cannot express enough that you should not hire Nicole Carson for a bankruptcy attorney . She had my case set to go through the court and all of a sudden she neglected to file the final paperwork to the court . They dismissed my case and it left me having to not only hire another attorney but I had to practically twist her arm to return the money she took from me for my case, that she promised to refund me. It took 2 years for her to process my bankruptcy claim, withdraw from the case and another 6 months to refund me my money. It’s been so long now that I may not get my case resolved with the court and will have to pay back some of the original loan. She messed me up badly. Don’t trust her. Look at all the reviews. I’m not the only one she has done this to. There is a place called Hell for people like her that mistreats innocent people. I was 67 and on SS when I started my bankruptcy. I’m now 70 and still have a $33,000.00 loan hanging over me that I may have to pay back some of it. I receive under $1000.00 in SS , my health doesn’t allow me to be able to work anymore. I’m so upset that she was allowed to do this to me. But you can learn from my experience. She charged me $3500.00 and refunded me $1500.00 back.

She took my case and never sent updates without me having to contact her. When I did finally was able to get in contact with her she will have a nasty attitude. When she says she's going to do something don't believe it because she won't or you going to have to beg her to do it. Trying to get my full refund but she's refusing although her communication was extremely poor and yes we meet what 2-3 times a week before court after begging to send link. She actually lies about doing things she said she's going to do and just flip the responsibility back on you. Cancelled by court date the day of stating her mom caught covid. Okay but we talk the night before and no mention of it. Stated she does not have to tell me nothing. Take your money and don't communicate unless you reach out first. Report this lady to the bar and BBB.

Do not hire this woman. After 6 months I had to fire her after having difficulty in contacting her after paying her 3500 dollars to retain her services, being lied to by this woman, she never contacted opposing counsel, mediation office had to wait a month and half for her to respond. She withheld information on things I was supposed to had done for my case up till the day I fired her. She only ever filed one thing on my behalf to court house and refuses to give any of my money back. She did nothing but have the other party served and after that. Nothing but lies. 2 other lawyers acknowledged that she was just trying to run up billable hours instead of doing her job

Doesn’t return calls after getting your information and promising to take on your case. My friend left 2-3 messages because his court date was approaching. Not one follow up call. Unprofessionalism at its best. Based on other reviews, this is how they operate. Better Business Bureau will be contacted!!!

I normally don't write bad reviews but This has been the worst experience I've had with a lawyer. I had a consultation with Nicole Carson, and she assured me that she would take care of me but didn't. She was supposed to file motions for me but never did. I was billed a retainer of $3500, and I paid $1500 of it right away. She said she would file but didn't, and when I asked for updates, she never responded.. a week later, she declined my case. It's a total waste of time and has inconvineinced me in many ways. It's not right to play with people like this.. I trusted she would do what she told me she would do, but she didn't. She was so responsive before I paid the money, and after I paid, I heard from her once or twice through email. Please don't waste your time. She declined my case for no reason and never gave me a good reason. I'm supposed to get my money refunded, so hopefully, I will get it back. I wouldn't recommend her to no one.

I was assigned to Nicole Carson by Marble Law in June 2022. I was told that there would be an emergency hearing.. did not happen, was told paperwork was filed with local court.. it wasn't, was told my ex was served and court was proceeding his response... it was not. Nothing was filed with court, no service was done and Nicole stopped communicating with me in December. There has been absolutely NOTHING done on my case since Nicole was hired. I have paid thousands of dollars and not received the service promised.

Man oh man when we go to our own it's to support and know that you are is good hands. The lack of communication and the inconsistencies in her information has been absolutely ridiculous. My case got dismissed and I found out through mail from other attorneys reaching out. Then when I asked where all my money went she said to creditors. Only to find out that my money went straight to her. Then when I asked for the balance of what I owe my creditors she said she didn't know. She likes the be NICE NASTY AND DOESN'T TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR WHAT SHE DOES WRONG. My new attorneys have been on point and have communicated every details. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR AND ATTORNEY.

Update: My new attorneys at Berry & Associate got me right and my bankruptcy will be finalized and dismissed next month. Call them if your in need of a good attorney.
