These people DO NOT help the elderly AT ALL. They NEVER answer the phone, they NEVER provided assistance for My family member. Ms. Feiok was the worst EVER --- either she was NEVER available, she'd lost My paperwork that was sent to her multiple times over a period of months. She then had the nerve to finally contact Me in 11/23 to state that there would be NO assistance to My family member -- after I'd been attempting to solicit services for 7 months. JUST WASTED MY TIME ALL THE WHILE MY family member is slowly losing life with COVID, and is pending eviction. I guess thay don't help the poor and minorities. Smh!

I never got a callback nor could I make an appt. I'm out of the region today, I'll return in a week hopefully. I called on behalf of an elderly friend because the Government of the District of Columbia was trying to take her home. She was a District resident who worked for the federal government for 47 years. She had a stroke at work and has had to stay with family while she recovers. Notices about her property had been sent to her dead mother. LCFTE did an intake interview with her and assigned an attorney to go to court with her the next day. She was so relieved and thankful for the help they provided to her. I’m truly grateful for their helping my friend.

The organization is a joke. They collaborate with SSA who already is stealing your money. They're just like everyone else in this world believing when you are over 60 years old you have Dementia, Alzhemeir's, Senility. Look whose running the country. And they do absolutely nothing to assist you but throw in your face it's free. Nothing in life is free. To them it's all a joke. But when you are of the Black Race, what can you expect. I should know. No response is necessary. It's never going to get any better! As a suggestion you might want to change your change your motto. 1st Amendment.

It took until the pandemic subsided, we finally got all the paperwork completed and the Power of Attorney and Will were completed. Took over a full year, but they kept in touch until the works was done. Great Work!!!

Each time I called I was advised they could not take my case. I found it to be discouraging. Not advised immediately that they could not take my case. And was not given any advice. You would think they would be delighted to help and get experience, but not this group
