Don’t hire Robert Lewis! In my opinion, he’s more interested in collecting high legal fees than in helping his client. He did a poor job on my case. He drafted the settlement papers that eventually became the divorce decree. A friend of mine, who is an attorney, read them over and had to make many corrections and add many omissions. Attorney Lewis even charged me for these corrections and additions. I paid about $100,000 in attorney’s fees to attorney Lewis despite the case never even going to trial. Then, without informing me and without my consent, he withdrew from my case because I wouldn’t pay him additional money for items that he had previously said had already been paid for. During the course of his representation, he advised me to hire a locksmith to gain access to the Marital Residence when my ex-husband locked me out. As a result, my ex-husband filed a motion for a protective order. Despite my repeated requests, attorney Lewis refused to come to court as a witness to tell the judge I had acted on his advice and wouldn’t even sign a short affidavit saying that he had told me to hire a locksmith. I had to go to court on my own. It took almost an additional year to get my ex husband to comply with most of the divorce decree and attorney Lewis left me to fend for myself. He’s the kind of lawyer, in my opinion, who gives lawyers a bad name.

Paid a fee to get assistance with my complicated divorce with children.i had an appointment that I unfortunately missed due to all 5 of my children being sick. I tried to reschedule or see about getting the money back to find someone else. Front office lady was super rude would not let me talk or explain my situation.. then when I brought up I am looking for someone to help me at court not just answer questions about the situation was basically told that we didn’t go over that just that he could answer questions.
She could have provided a Solution to the situation her tone of voice and speaking to like that.. not professional at all! No sympathy or empathy at all.

Do not use or waste your time if you’re looking for help with a divorce with children. They should have it listed informational purposes only.

Pretty bad experience! I end up not getting my spousal support that he said he could get for me! I was about 2-3 thousands dollars short, at least!
He was unprepared, and I feel that he overcharged for services of the same nature more than once, and charged for his intern assistant who to my knowledge, did not contribute to improve in my case with anything ... much; nevertheless,I feel very that my ex husbands attorney was very well prepared & "with it "; while I felt " screwed up by getting very poor service and very much overcharged by Mr Robert G Lewis! My opinion about s that he is not a good divorced lawyer and, I DONOT RECOMMEND Mr Lewis AS A DIVORCE LAWYER!!! My divorced took place Dec/2016! He was more concern about getting paid, than about defending me in my divorce!.

The amazing legal service he and his assistant provide is only rivaled by the level of genuine and sincere care that they have for their clients. He was literally THE worst attorney. Divorce is tough, but this guy made it unbearable.

Charged 14k to only let me know there was nothing he could do.

However, I got new representation and they fixed everything.

This guy is a fraud.
