This was my first time using them for my real estate closing. The service was exceptional. They followed up consistently with me and my client. They went above and beyond by offering to call the mortgage company in order to get the payoff.
Nicky was amazing. The attorney, Mr. Stan Faulkner was thorough when explaining the legal documents. At one point he had moved on to another document and my client wanted to go back and look at the document again. He was patient and offered to do it with no resistance. Thank you team. I will be back!

If I could give zero stars, I would.

I understand I am just one voice, one experience, but I felt it was important to share my experience. When you have to hire someone for a matter like this, it’s already a stressful situation, and you place a lot of trust in the people you hire to guide you through it. What I experienced with Perigon Legal Services wasn’t right, no matter how they try to explain or justify it. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this firm to anyone.

I hired Perigon Legal Services in December 2023 to handle my mother’s estate, and my experience with this firm has been deeply disappointing. While my initial consultation with Stan Faulkner gave me confidence that I was in good hands, everything changed after that. Once I was passed off to his team, the quality of service deteriorated significantly.

It is now January 2025, and my case is still not resolved. Even with closing my conservatorship, my mother’s estate was not a particularly complex case, and I have since learned from other professionals that cases like this should not take this long or involve so many complications.

For months, no real progress was made on my case. I met with one of their attorneys early on, but that attorney left the firm shortly after, and none of the work we discussed was implemented. I was still billed for those services, even though the process had to be revisited from scratch, costing me even more time and money.

When work on my case finally began in May 2024, I encountered significant issues. I was repeatedly asked to resend documents I had already provided, and I later discovered that someone on their team had not even opened the emails that included what was being asked from me. This level of disorganization was frustrating and unacceptable.

When I sought updates, I was often given vague responses or excuses blaming others. Eventually, out of frustration, I went to the probate court myself, only to discover that paperwork filed by the firm was incorrect and needed to be redone. I was also informed of steps I should have taken much earlier, but despite asking for guidance, I was told to wait—advice that turned out to be incorrect. To make matters worse, they later claimed I told them I wanted to wait, which was the complete opposite of what I had expressed. I made it extremely clear that the longer I had to wait on it, the longer it would take for me to reimburse myself and other family members who were helping cover the costs of this process.

The firm claimed my files were a "mess," but this is simply not true. I provided well-organized documentation from the start, and I have retained proof of this. Furthermore, there was nothing this firm did that I could not have done myself, and in many instances, I ended up handling filings and paperwork on my own because I could not trust their team to do so accurately.

The lack of communication and follow-through has been an ongoing issue. Despite my repeated complaints, the service I received never improved. Their most recent correspondence twisted my words and failed to acknowledge the mistakes and delays that have plagued my case.

This experience has been incredibly stressful and costly, and I deeply regret hiring this firm. While I understand that challenges arise in legal matters, the disorganization, poor communication, and lack of accountability I experienced go far beyond reasonable.

Mr. Faulkner provided assistance regarding the resolution of an estate matter involving Deed of Assent. He was very polite; and clearly knew the intimate details of our problem and provided a solution that will secure and protect the family property. I highly recommend Mr. Faulkner for estate planning or probate issues, especially problems with real estate.

I’ve been closing with Stan and his team for quite a while now, and the experience is consistently flawless. His team works diligently until the file is fully closed. In fact, one of their remote pre-closers even worked through Hurricane Helen, which speaks volumes about their dedication. She kept us updated, even after business hours. I definitely recommend them!

Very great experience from everyone at Perigon Legal Services. Even though we had a few hiccups with negotiations they were able to accommodate a quick turnaround and ultimately making it a pleasurable experience for the buyer. Very responsive, professional and great to work with! Unfortunately, that's not too common these days so I had to sing high praises. Appreciate you guys and look forward to working with you again soon.

My mobile notary was hired by Jennifer Felder. Documents were received last minute from Jennifer and finally the invoice was not paid entirely because there weren’t enough funds to cover expenses incurred. All the work was done and more.

In my opinion such large company should have a credit card for jobs that have not been calculated accurately by your staff. Is not the amount that I was owed, it’s the principle. If you hire someone to do something and they incur expenses that have been discussed with your staff as it was with Jennifer Felder then they should be paid and not have your staff walk away from a discussion like Arielle Terrell did.
