Quick, Honest Assessment but Very Rude! He literally gave me his opinion then hung up on me.

My apt place broke my washing machine and they're refusing to take accountability and fix or replace my appliance. Because the machine is used and very old he suggested I just let it go and get a new one. Before I could even give a response or show appreciation for his advice, he just hung up on me. Glad I didn't trust them to handle my situation.

Hired him for an eviction case for a family member who speaks limited English and was charged double for their rent. He went to court and didn’t contest any of the charges which leaves them with a judgment paying double for the rent and now they’re out extra money for even hiring him. Waste of money.

I consulted with Attorney Carlton on the renting issues I was having with my landlord. He listened to my concerns about my situation and address them from a legal stand point. He took time out his personal family day to deal with my matter. I truly appreciated him for doing that. As a tenant/renter in GA you can feel unheard but with Attorney Carlton I felt heard for the 1st time in months! He also advised on how to handle my situation moving forward. If you need tenant rights advice call him. Don't delay and be confused by all the legal jargon make the call.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I would never recommend Attorney Matthew Carlton nor will I ever do business with him again. He is an extremely deceptive person.

Attorney Matthew Carlton deceived us by making us think we had found the right lawyer to handle our case. We were having some problems with our HOA and after we paid him our money, absolutely nothing was done by him to help with our case. And he never did anything to improve the situation for me and my family. He made promises that he never kept. He informed us that he had won several HOA cases against the opposing counsel, which we believe is an outright lie, and then he implied he could be successful in handling our case for us. Then he was able to apply some law that allowed him to drop our case, and he refused to return the total amount that was paid to him or any portion of it. Bottom line, he just deceived us and took our money.
