Never had a problem getting my docs apostilled! Parking is free (sometimes full to capacity but always one or two left for me 😉), easy access in/out the parking lot into the bldg unlike downtown Atl!! 😖. Shot out to Peter and Lawanda...they always answer my questions/concerns in ref to a notary or apostille. Ladies at front desk always polite and most of all, only takes 5 to 10 mins!!!

I came here to get an apostille on 11/28/2023 to get my South Korean drivers license but the clerk on the right desk working on this day was very unprofessional. I made mistakes by not bringing in a notarized copy of my DL and a paper of my DL front and back so I had to go to UPS. The way she talked to me and my uncle turned me off and was unprofessional and when I tried to provide all the necessary documentation through a plastic board she just flicked the papers right in front of me which is when I became upset and so I kinda pushed one of the papers towards her. As she's going through my paperwork and calls me back to her, she gives me what I need but tells me to use the dropbox next time if I ever come back here with an attitude. Am I supposed to feel intimidated or embarrassed? I told her that she flicked papers right in front of me but she denied it and said she was trying to take my documentation. Thankfully I don't have to come here again now that I have what I need but if I ever needed this service, I would happily use the dropbox or go someplace else. I've never seen service so outrageous that it got to a point where my uncle had to stop me before things got ugly. This lady should've been professional like the manager I went to at UPS who happily notarized my DL and printed my DL front and back. Perhaps she sends people to UPS to get the correct documentation because she's lazy to scan and do her job. Instead of de-escalation she chose escalation by running her mouth telling me about if I come back here again with an "attitude".

I did some digging and I managed to find this person on facebook named Lawana Pitts, she matches the description with her facial features and haircut. I made a complaint against the notary division working that day and their supervisor will be reported the bad behavior.

UPDATE: Called again to try to confirm the name of the employee that I'm making a complaint against but the first lady who picked up phone for some reason said that they don't take complaints. I literally just called them the other day and technical services said that they do take complaints. It seems that the staff of this establishment don't even know what they do. I was later taken to talk with the manager Peter Keesom of the notary department and confirmed the specific employee I want to make a complaint against. I don't know why but it seems everyone at the notary department are just complete jerks. He was quiet but sounded like he didn't want to do his job but he told me he'll have a conversation with her. As I was asking what the repercussions of her actions would be he responded in a sort of snarky passive aggressive way ("Well what would you want me to do? Fire her ?"). I'm not joking you, this is the manager and he's asking me that question. These people and the rest of GCSSA are a joke and will never come to this establishment again. Next time I'll hire an agent to do my dirty work, even if it costs more.

This service is just 9-5. The rest of the world is working .. 24-7. My bill is paid auto draft and now no one is there to fix the site when its down causing its clients to loose money.. but they hold you hostage. this state really need a competing service to hold them in check.

Very clean place first of all. I came here as a walk-in to get my marriage certificate Apostille for Germany. Walk-in hours for this is from 9am-4pm mom-Fri. I emailed them first to get confirmation and a Peter, quickly replied with the address and hours. The two ladies working were professional, courteous and all business. I loved that. Got my marriage certificate apostilled, paid the fee and went on my way. I didn’t catch their names but the lady at the front had really lovely nails. I visited here on July 28, 2022 around 9:50am. Thank you both to the two ladies that I spoke to and handled my apostille for my marriage certificate!!

Visited this authority please be aware you will see cold personalities at the front desk. No smile on face answering simple questions would be a whole lot of job from this receptionist.

My experience with the GSCCA has not been pleasant. I have found them to be very rude and very very unprofessional. They are one of the only organizations still closed to the public. Even the Secretary of State is open and they always answer the phone and are nice. The GSCCA however is closed to the public and when you do speak to someone on the phone. The ones I’ve talked to including the manager are rude, abrupt, and unprofessional. They will cut you off, over talk you, and show no compassion. I would think it goes without saying. But you are still closed to the public and it’s almost 2022. Our main way of contact is on the phone. At least let this be a positive experience. Labor shortages are everywhere but that is no excuse for bad customer service and attitudes. I really hope another agency such as this will be appointed. The people running this one are clearly not people people.

They processed my paperwork the exact same day. Walk-in services are currently suspended (and I'm located 4 hours away from Atlanta anyway), but the service has not diminished because of it. They are the only entity who can apostille in the state of georgia and it only costs $3 per document. If you happen upon the other business claiming to apostille (and charges you $175 per document), please don't waste your time. Cut out the middle man and come right to the source.
