I was with this organization for many years. At one point, many years ago, I had a competent representative who was very helpful. I grew tired of the constant delays (one year they didn't get my taxes done until OCTOBER!) and changed to a different company. Man, it is great when you are taken care of. Which ATBS does NOT do. Wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

We agreed to file an extension for 2023 Taxes with completion Oct 2024. It is now 7+ calls later, Feb 2025 and we are losing financing on our Freightliner because we can not get our 2023 Taxes, we can not get a call on an estimated date of completion. The $1400.00 fee for 2023 accounting and tax preparation was paid but not only are we delinquent but ATBS stands in the way of our company's capital flow. The TAX Organizer, once this is filled out, it acts like Turbo Tax and I would have completed the companies taxes. Short of trying to find a Corporate contact number, I have nothing good to say about an Accounting firm that burdens the company that pay them. Ok... back to researching to get up the ladder to someone that can give me answers.

UPDATE: This review and a final email was responded to the next day. Our company received a one on one call from an ATBS Tax expert who stayed on the phone and discussed the bind our company was in due to no filing of our 2023 Taxes. Meredith immediately took our file and worked through-out the week-end and completed the promised work and filing. This expedient turn-around allowed us to file 2023 and 2024 taxes. Meredith also assured me that should we find additional tax items, ATBS would work to amend our taxes should the need arise. ATBS has earned my continued business and I will be more diligent to start communications well before tax extension deadline. Thank you ATBS, thank you Meredith and ATBS team.

I’m a truck driver owner operator and I’ve been working with ATBS for a couple of years now and I’m very happy I took the leap to let them handle all my tax needs for my business, I wish I had acquired their service since day one, but now that they’re taking care of that, I’m less stressed out when gathering all my paperwork and receipts because they will basically organize them for me, the ATBS app they have is also extremely easy to use. They are UNBELIEVABLY slow. Its now been a month and a half that my taxes have been in the preparation stage just sitting there. Everytime I call I'm told they have everything they need and that they will "escalate" my filing....which I just found out may get them done in a couple weeks. Their services are not even close to worth the exorbitant cost in an industry that has razor thin margins already. I highly recommend getting Quickbooks, learning a little and saving yourself thousands and hours of headaches.

Waste of time
Once 2 months went by the atbs person assigned to me stopped calling for a monthly check up. They didn't really look at pay statements properly and get a good report on the trucks numbers. And now I am trying to get data for which I paid for on last years taxes and it's all gone.

Very displeased with what the portal can do. We were explained that we can track all of our expenses and income in a easy way. The only thing it allows you to do is scan in receipts or invoices. I really don't have time for that. And then you wait for days for it to process. Not useful in my opinion in any way. Ask for a virtual viewing of what the program can do. If we have seen what it does, we would have said no way! Five months of subscription just went down the drain. Waste of money.
