I am reaching out to share my personal experience with Kate, the attorney I retained for an employment discrimination case. While I initially found Kate's performance during the mediation process to be commendable, I was ultimately let down by the lack of transparency and communication thereafter.

Once we reached an impasse due to the company's "insolvency," our case was submitted for investigation. Throughout this period, I anxiously awaited the outcome, only to realize that I had never been copied on the correspondence between the Department of Labor (DOL) and Kate's office. Moreover, neither Kate herself nor her office ever informed me of the final decision.

This lack of transparency and failure to provide updates left me feeling frustrated and powerless. I recognize that lawyers are often busy, but it is important for them to view cases as personal experiences and treat their clients accordingly. Timely communication and regular updates are vital for clients to navigate legal matters effectively. It is crucial for clients to be kept informed so they can make informed decisions and actively participate in their own cases.

Based on my personal experience, I regretfully cannot recommend Kate's services to others seeking legal representation for similar cases.
