Incompetent notaries. Told me she legally was not allowed to notarize my documents because they were in a foreign language. I reminded her that she is notarizing my signature as mine according to my identification and that she's not notarizing anything about the document itself. She told me that's not true and she would be sued if she did it. Clearly she did not read the Colorado notary handbook and is poorly trained which means she's providing poor and inadequate service to Canvas customers.

I feel like the only time I come here, is get money to either buy a car, or fix one.
That being said, every time I DO come here, I discover cool humans inside the place.
Canvas is a little untraditional, and that sits just fine with me. I'm a lot more comfortable talking to people dressed like me, than people in suits.
My experiences have all been good here. I try to have the right paperwork and documents in hand when I get there, and if you do that, everything's smooth as silk.
My mother was a Norlarco customer for YEARS, and she pointed me to you when I was looking to set up. Good advice, Mom.

I really tried to give canvas credit Union a chance. But now at two different branches, they have put my money in someone else's account. The first time this happened they said that the person had a similar name to mine. I figured it out after a day, went back into the branch, they made it right by putting the money back into my account. But didn't offer anything in the way of compensation for my time or anxiety. The second time it happened, I got the same exact excused from the call center. That my name looks like someone else's. I said I'm pretty sure there's a whole bunch of John Smith's in the world. You guys need to do a better job. You're constantly having trouble with their mobile app, I can't see my account balances.I'll be looking for a different banking establishment tomorrow.

Would never bank here. We scheduled an appointment for a service as a non member. We confirmed before driving two hours that we could do this and they assured us they could if we paid. Showed up for the appt and they would not help us. Very rude and unhelpful.

We had a certificate of deposit that had one year remaining to maturity. It was earning 2.5% interest. We went into the Lemay branch to inquire about an early withdrawal penalty. We were informed by the employee there would be a 90 day penalty. My wife and I decided to take the 90 day penalty. Turns out the penalty was a full years interest. We relied on employee's info and made decion on that information. It wasn't until the next day that we oticed the large penalty when we were using the check for settling up on a purchase. I went into the office and spoke to the manager but no accountability for the employee's error.

I have banked with Norlarco/PublicService/ Canvas for 44 years and have always been treated well. Many times I have received good advice when I asked for it, There were a few inconvieniences during the remodel of the Lemay branch, but the automatic tellers and online banking filled in the gaps at the time.

I typically use canvas as they are a shared branch with my bank Bellco, but never again after what happened today.. I was trying to deposit over $100 in tips from my job into the ATM last Friday evening 9/9/2022 but the machine had some sort of error and couldn't return any of my cash and essentially just ate my money. It printed me out a slip with my deposit amount and told me to head into the branch to fix the error and get the money they stole from me. I wasn't able to make it into the bank Saturday before they closed so I went in Monday the 12th where the staff claimed because I didn't bank directly with them that I would have to fix the error with my actual bank. This wouldn't have been much of a problem if it weren't for the fact that the closest Bellco is an hour away in Longmont. I drove all the way down to Longmont to be told by all the staff at Bellco that because it was Canvas' ATM that they should have been the ones responsible to handle the dispute. Thankfully they were kind enough to call and submit the dispute for me but it doesn't change the fact that I wasted 2 hours on driving, spent gas money I don't have since their ATM stole from me, and I still may have to wait up to 2 weeks to see the money I tried to deposit. In my opinion the staff was just too lazy or uninformed to fix the problem and I was forced to make a day out of fixing something that Canvas should've fixed considering it was their ATM that started all of this. Im going to make sure and tell everyone I know to avoid this branch because when they screw up they just pass the buck and pretend like it isn't their problem. Extremely dissatisfied, so glad they're opening a Bellco in Fort Collins soon because I'm never doing any banking here again.

I have been a member for 22 years. Every branch that I have done business with has been a very good experience. The employees are very professional and some of the nicest people you could meet. Once they know you they remember you by name. The loan department is very efficient and painlessly make request happen quickly. If you are looking for great service with a home town feel, go to Public Service Credit Union, you will not be sorry! Theresa
