The 8th Judicial district attorneys office is currently trying to cover up an attack against me by my neighbors. The Sheriff's department charged the father with a misdemeanor and made no arrests for attacking me with a hatchet. Mark Bonfield, their investigator, is currently trying to initiate alternatives to the hatchet wound they refuse to acknowledge.
This was done to me by Fred and Isaiah Garcia. The son hit me with a hatchet and Fred pushed me violently out into the street immediately afterwards.
I will not entertain lies to cover up facts. These people need to be recorded at all times. Corruption is a serious issue in Larimer County.

My truck and camper were stolen. Unfortunately I am not considered a victim because they don't consider my camper a "home". So I do not qualify for any victim assistance. I lived in the camper on a full time basis. Everything I owned was in the camper. My dead sons ashes were in the camper. The d.a. was very polite. The investigator was polite. But I am left with nothing. Starting over from scratch. I wish there was help for someone like me.

Larimer County sheriff's Department and the district attorney's office is truly the most corrupted law enforcement I've seen in this country. My house was actually burglarized by my neighbor and because they're my neighbor they said it was a civil matter. 6 mouths later then my house was vandalized by that same neighbor. They even admitted to being involved again no charges. It's truly reasonable to believe that law enforcement in larimer County is unable and unwilling to protect its citizens. I now have them caught in over 12 blatant lies over the last 6 months.
As a law-abiding US citizen I recommend do not call them in an emergency they're useless.

I voted for this district attorney and it was obviously a mistake. I will not vote for him again. Sentences are way too lenient and people are sent to a broken probation at rmoms. I know someone who is going there and should have been violated but isn't. Will be contacting Colorado Bar Association. Vote this District Attorney out.

Completely incompetent. I had to drop my charges against someone who tried to ki|| me so these people wouldn’t drain me of the money I need to live. I had charges that couldn’t be proven and didn’t happen put against me in retaliation that they LOVED continuing though. These people are bought and paid for. Get out of Fort Collins, the people here are crazy and bought the system. Even with endless evidence provided to them, they refuse to do their job. Gee I wonder why.

DA doesn't care about crime unless it's against citizens. Government corruption and child abuse committed by county officials doesn't matter.

My daughter is going to kill herself because of the Government here. Not that the DAs office cares about it.

I feel it is unsafe to operate a motor vehicle in Larimer County because of their insane over-prosecution of traffic laws, and things I have seen happen to my friends. The police are charging people with fake DUIs, among other things. I will never support any business in this county and believe that citizen's Constitutional rights are being violated daily with pretextual traffic stops, and fishing for information to make money and ruin a driver's life. It's one of the shadiest counties in the United States as far as I am concerned. This county is also one of the many reasons I try not to drive unless I am going on a longer road trip. The government slogan here should be "guilty until proven guilty." Sorry Ft. Collins. It's a shame that such an awesome town is in a county with horrendous motives.
