I was fortunate enough to have been assigned Jamie Reeves as my attorney for my felony case out of Weld county. As anyone who has dealt with the legal system knows, it's almost impossible to get attention from your court appointed attorney. Most often your attorney reaches out the day of your court and then you are lucky to hear from them again until the day of your next appearance. Jamie went above and beyond both during my incarceration, and my time outside of lockdown. She came to see me, not just once but several times, called me, stayed in touch with my family, got messages to me, actually listened to my wants and needs, set me up with a case manager, and had that person go above and beyond also. She was able to negotiate exactly what I wanted and has since continued to go above and beyond, staying in touch, filing motions, and continuing to reach out to the D.A.'s office for me. Jamie has truly been a God send!!
