This company is terrible. DO NOT use this company.. They will lie to you so nicely and still never show up. This will be day 3 that bulk pickup is still in front of house. At this point I'll pay someone to take it to the dump but I thought I already paid someone. So, new year, new trash company. I'll be reviewing rates from other companies and let it be known right here what I find so everyone can drop this company. If this was the first bad experience I had with them I wouldn't be at this point,but there have been many. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Very terrible company, they dont even deserve a 1 star. I have been with Republic since i bought my house in 2022, my bill keep going up with no notification and 1 week there truck driver took my recycle bin i kept calling for a replacement 1 month later i still didn't get a replacement. I recently canceled my account, they telling me my refund is going to be mailed to me in form of a check and i was paying monthly with a check after the lady had told me prior to call back after my last pick up day. Its like everyone there operates different

We came to Republic for better customer service and In hopes there would not be missed pick ups.
We left Trash Tech because of the terrible customer service and continued missed pick ups.
On the second of July they missed the entire neighborhood.
No texts saying there was a delay or no call advising there was an issue.
I called on Wednesday the third and was told the trash would be picked up today. This morning when I left for work, they had not come. The reps claim there has been truck issues.
Back in April I was missed and given a credit because of that being the third missed pick up.
Now here we are starting July off with miss pick ups. Republic is expensive and they surely send out the invoice to be paid.
But have trouble communicating when they're is an issue and expect payment.
Thought this place would be better, the customer service is decent.
But they are too expensive and now there seems to be issues picking up the bins.
It is a pain to have to keep flip flopping from place to Place. But I will be looking for another trash service. And hope I can finally find a company that actually does their jobs...I understand things happen.
But constant issues and no communication is a bit much.. especially as pricey as Republic is. To miss an entire neighborhood is kinda ridiculous.

After 10+ years with Republic I have finally switched. There were issues along the way with plenty of missed pickups but they were usually taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. Sometimes not. Sudden rate and fuel charge increases out of nowhere. Why is it that companies only offer negotiation pricing, their term not mine, when you want to cancel? Then when you cancel they wallop you with a cart pickup fee. ($82-seriously!?!?) Talk about taking it coming and going. Obviously they didn’t make enough money over the past 10 years so they need to suck just a little bit extra out right before you go. It’s sick, really really sick. I really am hoping the grass is greener on the other side.

I have for better than 6 mos++
been asking that the recycle truck close the lid on my can. I was told the truck doesn’t close the lids. That is not correct. I have other neighbors who use the service & their cans are always closed. Why? The driver that picks up my trash gets out of his truck & takes my trash out of my can & takes it to his truck. Another thing that I don’t understand. My other neighbors who have Republic is not having this problem. I have called and complained so many times that I have canceled my service. If my complaints have been kept, you will see how long I’ve been dealing with this aggravation. Everybody I spoke to was polite but always unhelpful!
I would not recommend this company because they don’t solve problems.

I called in July to cancel my yard waste service and discuss my bill for August. After canceling my yard waste service I agreed on a lower price to continue my trash and recycling service. I turned auto pay off because my bill on the APP didn’t reflect the price I agreed to pay. Several days later they charged my credit card for the price for all three services. I called back and spoke to Michael in sales. He was so rude that I canceled all services with your company. I was given a date that your containers would be picked up but you didn’t come get them. I called back and spoke to Julie who said she was a senior advisor and she guaranteed that they would be picked up the following Monday. They were not picked up. I’ve called numerous times and your containers are still in the road in front of my house. You have fraudulently charged my credit card and you refuse to come get your containers. Your customer service is horrible.

I was a loyal 10 plus year Republic customer despite price hikes. But after continuous service failure and then weeks of not being serviced I had to cancel them. Now I am furious as it’s been many weeks now at at-least 7 phone calls for them to pickup my cans for removal and refund my prepaid money until they pickup my cans. I have been told 3 different dates to leave my cans out. They are still here in my way everyday when I try to park. Never going back with them due to this recent experience.
