I worked with Ricardo Vasquez to complete a simple divorce case over a year ago now and I can confidently say it was a waste of money. Communication and follow through was poor. I expected when my lawyer tells me he is going to do something at the time he would do it that it would happen, it didn’t. I expected the team can fill out the standard divorce paperwork accurately and in a reasonable amount of time, they didn’t. I had to proof all the documents and I was charged for them to fix stupid errors like our custody schedule. He advised us to go to mediation when we already agreed on 50/50, the mediator literally said - what are we doing here if we already agreed? Then on top of that the mediation took forever because my lawyer couldn’t figure out his tech to get the papers generated for us to sign during the session. I EVENTUALLY FIRED HIM AND COMPLETED THE DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS ON MY OWN. I won’t even get started on the over charges that I had to fight him on.

Worse, since the divorce I’ve learned there are so many little details that should’ve been worked out - for example, yes we agreed to split costs 50/50 but there is no financial plan in place on how we communicate that or pay each other. Now he’s starting school and there’s no plan in place on how to handle the school breaks. Now that all the dust is settled little like that things keep coming up that I realized through talking to other divorcees that a good divorce lawyer would have helped you negotiate up front.

Sean represented me in my custody/child support case. To this day I question who he really worked for. He talked me into giving more rights to my ex even though he forewarned me that he wouldn’t use those rights or be present in my child’s life. At the time I was very young and naive to the process so I obliged. To this day I still can’t do many things for my child since I gave him joint rights and the other parent is not present so that was not for the best interest of my child. He also told me I could drive a Honda that I didn’t need such a nice car that I was use to driving..since my ex was trying to take our car away. Overall my experience is one that I regret to this day. He did not fulfill his fiduciary duty and work for the best interest of my family

Sean Peek and his staff were amazing! My dad is elderly and was being taken advantage of. We have never had to hire an attorney so we were new to this process. I was given Sean's name by a family member who works for an attorney who was on a case against Sean who was representing the other party. My review of Sean comes as an attorney litigating against him in my own family law dispute. When my marriage was ending, my wife and I turned to Sean for help resolving all the complex problems a divorcing couple faces. At a time when most lawyers were still uneasy about same-sex marriage/divorce, Sean and his team were accepting, gracious, and kind.
